Gearing Up for Global Expansion

London-based design studio Morpheus & Co has been appointed on some high profile new projects as it gears up for an international expansion in 2024.

The firm is working with Hutchison Property Group on the creation of two luxury residences at the former Lots Road Power Station, now rebranded as Powerhouse at Chelsea Waterfront.

Morpheus is in charge of the interior design, FF&E and full installation for the three- and four-bedroom how apartments at the landmark riverside scheme. Inspiration is being taken from the building’s historic industrial roots and views of the Thames, with installation due in April.

Private client commissions include the creation of a design concept for an “exceptional” residence in Weybridge’s St George’s Hill, and the delivery of a private home at the recently-opened Peninsula Residences London – one of the capital’s most prestigious new addresses. The 25-year-old firm – now led by MD Antonio Quesada-Avalos – said it plans to deliver projects in all four corners of the globe this year, from London and France to Egypt, Dubai, Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia.

“The last few years have seen a process of transformation for Morpheus & Co., as we expand into new sectors of the market as well as into new geographies. Now, we’re seeing our hard work pay off with a swathe of world-class projects coming to fruition across the world.”

“In line with Morpheus & Co’s values of community, creativity, collaboration and compassion – which act as the guiding sail for the team – our focus for 2024 is to continue to deliver our signature best-in-class design for each and every client, building on our longstanding relationships as well as forging new ones.”
